Software/Web Developer to Join Founding Team at LikeMinds.com in Palo Alto

Be part of the LikeMinds founding team, an early stage Palo Alto start-up two years in the making. We recently released our Alpha version and need someone who can hit the ground developing scalable web applications.

Required Skills:
* PHP, JavaScript/AJAX, MySQL
* Comfortable in LAMP environment
* Experience building computationally intensive large-scale web applications
* BS/MS in Computer Science from top program (or equivalent experience)

Additional Skills & Experience Desired:
* PHP Framework: (Zend|Cake|Symfony)
* Database design and admin (MySQL|Postgres)
* Javascript libraries: (jQuery|Dojo)&JSON&AJAX
* User interface components as needed (HTML&CSS)
* Web service API’s: (REST|SOAP)&XML
* Experience with C++ development (C# also relevant)
* Familiarity with data mining or machine learning
* Experience with social APIs (OpenSocial|Facebook)

Work Environment:
* Very informal environment, must work hard (60+ hours). Local candidates, no relocation expenses.
