LikeMinds User Experience and Interface Developer:

Work with a small group of passionate engineers who need a great user interface developer and designer. We’re a small scrappy startup that needs someone who can take on a unique roll of both design and UI development of LikeMinds.com and our services. Our current UI is pretty rough which is why we need you!

Responsibilities:
- Lead creative design and development of the user interface
- Work closely with developers to iterate toward an excellent user experience
- A/B testing and ability to generate metrics on design improvements

Key Skills:
- Excellent visual and user interface design skills, and ability to implement your design
- Ability to hand code compliant (X)HTML with CSS driven page layouts.
- Familiarity with best-practices for usability.
- Transform XHTML + CSS layouts into PHP templates
- Understanding of Model-View-Controller (especially View) paradigm in at least one scripting language such as PHP, Python, or Ruby
- Proven and demonstrable expertise with advanced JavaScript, DHTML, XMLHttpRequest, XML, JSON.
- Experience third-party JavaScript library such as: jQuery, DOJO, Yahoo UI Library, Prototype, etc.
- Cross-browser development and debugging (Extensive knowledge of IE6 rendering bugs)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Additional Skills Desired:
* Flash, Flex or Photoshop

Work Environment:
* Very informal environment, must work hard. Part-time and interns feel free to apply also. Local candidates only, no relocation compensation.
